Precision Core Pins grinds the working surfaces of its pins, mandrels, and blades, and holds ground diameters as tight as 0.00005 in. Below are the processes behind every part we ship from Orange County, California.

Core processes

• Precision Grinding — holding close tolerances on diameters, bores, and flats. Centerless, cylindrical, ID, surface, form, and thread grinding, all in-house.
• Marking & Engraving — part numbers and identification added in-house, so a finished part never has to leave the building.

Made to print, made in the USA

We work from your drawing or a sample, in inch or metric. Everything we make is custom and manufactured domestically. We grind diameters from 0.004 in up to lengths of 12 feet, all held to tight tolerances.

Grinding

Grinding sets the held tolerance and the straightness on the working surfaces. We grind core pins, mandrels, ejector pins, and blades for medical, aerospace, and electronics tooling.
